The company was founded by Bill Nordgren, one of the co-founders of Promodel, Roger Hullinger and Cliff King. Both Roger and Cliff had a lot of experience with Arena and Automod. |
After the takeover of F&H Simulation BV by another Dutch company, they became independent, changed their name to Flexsim and started to develop their own software. This development got a great boost when Dr. Eamonn Lavery joined the team of Flexsim and brought with him a great deal of experience in developing simulation software. This lead to the development of the Flexsim Simulation Software and in 2003 they brought their first version of Flexsim on the market.
Because of the great experience with different
kinds of software they where capable of developing a software
package that incorporates the good ideas of other software but
left out the less good ideas. This makes Flexsim, besides
one the most modern packages, also one of the most well though
out packages available today.
