Mischa Spelt obtained a double BSc in Physics and Mathematics at Utrecht University, then graduated in Theoretical Physics (MSc) with a focus on Soft Condensed Matter. He proceeded to work as Scientific Software Engineer / Consultant in The Hague, getting formal training and experience in .NET and other technologies, as well as general software engineering skills, while working for various R&D customers in The Netherlands and abroad. Throughout his career he has enjoyed teaching, mainly to final-year high school students and adults, as well as putting his organization skills to use.
